One aspect that many people anticipate when traveling to other countries is FOOD. When I travel to other countries, I always make an effort to try out as many different dishes, drinks, snacks, etc. as possible. I want to experience what the everyday person eats in his or her country. Despite all that, it's always been a challenge for me to get the full experience because I have lactose intolerance.
Trying to explain lactose intolerance in a foreign country can be tricky. It's not so much the lack of understanding in concept, as many people all around the world suffer from lactose intolerance. The problem lies in the communication as many times have shown, I have struggled to explain my disorder to foreigners. With such a huge inconvenience, I decided to see if I could possibly find an alternative to lactose intolerance.
If you haven't heard by now, there's this product on the market called Lactagen. Well I've been taking it for about 28 days now, and I'm excited because Lactagen is a 38 day program. With about 10 days to go, I've been anticipating the finish. I've noticed small differences as I'm able to eat dairy products at a small ration. However, in about 10 days I hope I'll be able to eat dairy products at any time, any day. Lactagen is supposed to permanently treat lactose intolerance, and that's something I'm really hoping for.
Best comes to best, I'll be able to travel the world free of lactose intolerance. I won't have to worry about what I eat. When the time comes, I'll write a followup to show whether Lactagen worked or not.
For those curious about Lactagen or just lactose intolerance in general, take a minute at
Have a great day everyone!
